The objective of this study is to explore the system called “work of art”, through the aesthetic analysis of the Ecuadorian film Mejor no hablar de ciertas cosas (2012). We seek to consider the moral plot that underlies the film under the philosophical visions of Friedrich Nietzsche and Romano Guardini. Finally, it will be shown that the moral tragedy in each micro-story constitutes strata or layers in the aesthetic understanding of the audiovisual plot.
