The emotional state of professional players is essential to consolidating self-regulated and adaptive behaviors within competitive contexts. This research aimed to determine the relationship between anxiety and frustration tolerance in soccer players belonging to professional teams in Riobamba during November and December 2022 in the context of the Olmedo Sports Club. This study had a quantitative approach, with a non-experimental design and correlational scope, in which 70 professional footballers participated. The data were obtained through the document review technique from the profile sheets created as part of a management strategy. The psychometric instruments were applied during the diagnosis: SAS-2 Competitive Anxiety Questionnaire and Needs Frustration Scale. Psychological in Physical Exercise. The high level predominated in anxiety's worry dimension (3.35). All mean values related to frustration-related psychological needs were high (3.32 to 3.80). The correlation between the measurements of both anxiety and frustration variables was statistically significant and directly proportional in all cases, with moderate to strong intensity predominating.
