The incorporation of new technologies in teaching has become an excellent way to integrate processes highly demanded by contemporary society, and for those involved to have skills to achieve such goals. The objective of the research was to determine the influence of the application of the “DGTul” program on English language learning skills in students of the Institute of Higher Education of Lima, Peru. A quantitative explanatory level approach was applied based on the hypothetical deductive method with a quasi-experimental design. The results demonstrated that applying the “DGTul” program to the experimental group influences the English language learning skills compared to the control group to whom the program was not applied. The use of the “DGTul” program achieved a significant improvement in the English learning skills of high school students. This tool opens the doors for the teacher himself to reinvent himself with new teaching strategies, and represents, broadly speaking, an important advantage since they are programs that can be found freely, generating economy for those involved.
