This article presents a course of action for including sustainability and cross-cutting skills in Higher Education. Starting from the concept of sustainability encompassed in the 2030 Agenda and the approach of the choreographies of teaching, the article shows how to assemble both concepts to a degree using active methodologies. The first part describes the features of the methodologies chosen: phenomenon-based learning, challenge-based learning, and research-based learning, followed by the presentation of a proposal to structure the integration of the cross-cutting skills suggested by the university with the specific skills of each subject and the Sustainable Development Goals. Finally, the second part presents the application of these guidelines in a degree taught at the University of the Basque Country.

Keywords : 2030 Agenda; phenomenon-based learning (PhBL); challenge-based learning (CBL); cross-cutting skills; sustainability; university.
