Revista Andina de Educación [online]. 2022, vol.6, n.1, e201. ISSN 2631-2816.  https://doi.org/10.32719/26312816.2022.6.1.2.

This paper describes the context of the labor market, as well as of the graduates in Mexico from a period of health crisis derived from the COVID-19 pandemic. With the information collected, a mapping of the work environment is created, the opportunities generated, as well as the gaps that were mitigated in the various social sectors. Through a qualitative methodology with a descriptive method, a systematization of contextual elements is developed where education, employment and public policies have various problems to attend to. As part of the analysis and conclusions, proposals are formulated for the generation of strategies for linking the public, private and university sectors in order to reduce institutional gaps.

Keywords : graduates; labor market; public policies; educational modernization; educational trends.
