It can be asserted that organizations are in the midst of a transformation process in terms of their relationship with the government, society and with their business partners for purposes that go beyond the economic sphere. The supply chain and the impact that can be had on it are today a new means through which to contribute to sustainable development. Business tools that contribute significantly to sustainability are becoming increasingly popular, precisely because of the new global focus on social and environmental issues. After the documentary review, of what are considered to be the most outstanding strategies of those used to contribute to the sustainability of supply chains and which are of essential analysis for their management, the objective of this work is to provide researchers, academics and businessmen of a proposal of strategies for the management of the sustainability of supply chains. In the research, the analysis and synthesis method was used from bibliometric studies and a proposal for a matrix of sustainability approaches to the supply chain and a procedure for prioritizing strategies is made.
