Abstract
MEZA SANCHEZ, Shirley Marilyn; SALVADOR MORENO, Janeth Elizabeth and LOOR SALVADOR, Luis David. Occupational Asthma Induced by Chemical Agents -Irritant Vapors. Revista San Gregorio [online]. 2020, n.40, pp.201-215. ISSN 2528-7907. https://doi.org/10.36097/rsan.v1i40.1409.
Occupational asthma occurs due to susceptibility to certain pollutants and can be absorbed by the body through ingestion or inhalation (mostly) and is the subject of attention, by the international community and the World Health Organization, due to the increase in cases existing and the complication of detection and diagnosis of the disease by health specialists, which is why collecting and synthesizing the information that has been published on this pathology is of great importance. For this purpose, an exploratory systematic review was carried out on the publications made in scientific journals in the last 16 years, in specialized search engines such as Pubmed, Journal, Scielo, Google Scholar, among others. The results confirm the incidence of the problem, but not only due to exposure to irritating vapors or to substances present in particulate matter within work environments, but that it is multifactorial in origin with a high dependence on the physical conditions of the worker.
