Abstract

The study and treatment of the crime scene of a femicide, is very special. It must be identified if this place is the common domicile of the couple; or only of one of them (victim or aggressor); or even a different place. All of this, relating the instrument or instruments that were used to cause the woman’s death. The ocular inspection that is carried out in this type of scenes, in addition to being technical, must be carried out with a gender perspective. So, in the appreciation of the evidence, issues that, are also found in other types of blood events, they are unique in crimes against women. In consequence, it is essential to formulate cross-cutting lines of investigation that could guide the verification whether or not, if there are criminogenic factors of the crime of femicide, as well as the correct procedure to avoid post-mortem revictimization.
