Abstract

JARAMILLO CHAMBA, Daniel  and  CHUQUIMARCA JIMENEZ, Luis. Comprehensive study of the Discrete Fourier Transform for the analysis of digital signals. RCTU [online]. 2022, vol.9, n.1, pp.75-84. ISSN 1390-7697.  https://doi.org/10.26423/rctu.v9i1.664.

The objective of this work was to study the Discrete Fourier Transform because it is one of the most popular techniques to analyze digital signal processing systems. In addition, it was used as a technique implemented in a computational tool for the development of an FFT of a sinusoid, the identification of an FIR system, and the spectral analysis of an audio signal. The methodology used is theoretical-practical applied to the concepts of the discrete Fourier transform, executing an algorithm through a numerical simulator. Therefore, the three developed algorithms validate the application of the discrete Fourier transform to analyze digital signals.
