The dizziness of permanent changes in educational institutions, have generated large volumes of data storage. These presented in different formats requested by regulatory agencies, cause new challenges supported by information and communication technologies as the clouds of information that guide towards manipulation / analysis which result from this, result in large socio-technological impacts and benefits to a country, exclusively its population. The present work describes how the analysis of massive data "BigData" contributes in the decision-making in education, generated by causes such as the restructuring and / or reordering of educational institutions, growth of the school population, increase of teachers among other associated indicators. The methodology applied in this study is based on the type of research: descriptive, documentary, historical, longitudinal and transversal. Statistical results that allow to know and deepen the Ministry of Education (MINEDUC) in Ecuador are analyzed, with the purpose of strengthening education through of pertinent data, which at the same time opportunity to achieve high quality standards.
