Learning to learn becomes a key competence in the knowledge society. This study aims to analyze the learning strategies of undergraduate students at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador, Esmeraldas' campus, and their relationship with the variables gender, academic performance, and educational level. For this, a descriptive and correlational study was carried out. The ACRA scale of Román and Gallego (1994) was applied to a sample of 849 students. The results show that the level of practice of the strategies is medium low. Regarding the correlational analysis, there is no statistically significant relationship with the level of study, while weak statistical relationships are observed with gender and grade point average.
