The recent coronavirus outbreak transformed learning processes, bringing them emerging into virtuality and forcing educational institutions to develop strategies for moving towards remote education. The Social Web facilitated the technological transition, and with the support of virtual learning, communities made more flexible teaching environments and created different ways of interaction to reach academic goals. This essay, through document review, introduces guidelines for turning Social Networks into learning communities. Also, propose as the main benefits of Social Networks' use in learning processes are (1) facilitate access to information, (2) ubiquitous interconnectivity, and (3) fast content distribution, freely and with great scope.
