Teacher performance is vital for students' education because it promotes professional teaching practice, technical support and educational progress. The objective of this research is to analyze pedagogical accompaniment and teaching performance from a theoretical perspective. It was based on a systematic literature review, following the PRISMA protocol for the selection of 50 articles in the main search engines such as: SciELO, Scopus, Latindex and Dialnet. The results highlight the relationship of the study variables and the critical importance of promoting pedagogical support in teacher performance to improve classroom practice and benefit students.
