PONCE, Genoveva. SOLGO, THE METHAPOR OF THE ESSENTIAL. []. , 4, pp.67-77. ISSN 2550-6722.

Solgo, written by María Teresa Andruetto and illustrated by Cynthia Orensztajn, carries implicit messages related to the essential aspects of the life of an artist, a painter, in this case, but it could be either a musician, a poet, a sculptor or a photographer. Anyway, it might be even the essence of any transparent human being who, by being utterly coherent, could make important contributions throughout his or her life. The analysis aimed to determine the quality of metaphors in Solgo’s story developed a certain methodology that began with the analysis of the written piece and its author in order to elaborate a description of its basic structure. Accordingly, the analysis of the lexias and the discovery of artistic conditions led to several conclusions, among which, it must be mentioned the literary quality of the text and the convenient use of the metaphor as a main source to redefine the authentic projection of the artist in society by means of this story.

: lexias; literary quality; metaphor; structure; work.
