Vocational induction is a continuous and complex process, which allows the student to recognize their interests and abilities, in order to project them unified to a particular specialty, in such a way as to provide adolescents with the information necessary for a correct choice. In this sense, the purpose of this paper is to analyze how this process guides students who complete basic education in the choice of the Technical Baccalaureate of the Professional Accounting Figure. It has been considered that this modality is an option that students can access; to do this they must study a common core and the subjects or modules according to the professional figure they have chosen. It is based on the principle that vocational guidance processes are part of strategies to improve the quality of education. From the perspective of a qualitative approach, this work developed a descriptive and transversal field study. To achieve this goal, a survey was conducted of 61 students who are in the tenth year of basic education at the Machalilla Culture Educational Unit in Puerto López, to analyze the attitudes of these students in the framework of the process of vocational induction in the modality of Technical Baccalaureate of the Professional Figure Accounting.
