El objetivo de este estudio fue caracterizar la migración venezolana, aporofobia en Ecuador y la resiliencia de los inmigrantes venezolanos en el cantón Manta durante el periodo 2020. En esta investigación de enfoque cuantitativo y método de estudio empírico analítico, se aplicó una encuesta a 377 inmigrantes venezolanos en el cantón Manta. Se pudo obtener resultados significativos en los que se señala que a pesar de que, el 80,4% de los inmigrantes venezolanos ingresaron a Ecuador de forma regular por los puntos de control fronterizos, en la actualidad ya el 64,7% se encuentran en un estatus irregular, por no poseer algún documento como visa temporal, visa de trabajo, visa humanitaria, entre otras. También el 49,3% de los migrantes resaltaron sentirse discriminados en Ecuador y el 73,5% de inmigrantes venezolanos se han tenido que dedicar al comercio informal desde que están en Ecuador. En conclusión, se pudo comprobar que los migrantes venezolanos están sufriendo en Ecuador, y en diferentes países de Latinoamérica las consecuencias de ser migrantes forzados, con prohibiciones de ingreso en algunos países, discriminación, rechazo y notoria aporofobia. Sin embargo, se puede notar que los migrantes venezolanos ante tantos desafíos y adversidades son resilientes.

The objective of this study was to characterize Venezuelan migration, aporophobia in Ecuador and the resilience of Venezuelan immigrants in the Manta canton during the period 2020. In this quantitative approach research whit an analytical empirical study method, a survey was applied to 377 Venezuelan immigrants in the Manta canton. Significant results showed that although the 80.4% of Venezuelan immigrants entered Ecuador on a regular basis by border check points, currently already the 64.7% finds itself in an irregular status not being in possession of any document such as temporary visa, working visa or humanitarian visa among others. In addition, the 49.3% of migrants highlighted to feel discriminated in Ecuador and the 73.5% of Venezuelan immigrants living in Manta have had to engage in informal trade since they were in Ecuador. In conclusion, it was found that Venezuelan migrants living in Ecuador and other Latin American countries are suffering the consequences of being forced migrants with entry bans in some countries, discrimination, rejection and notorious aporophobia. At the same time, it can be noticed that Venezuelan migrants facing so many challenges and adversities are being resilient.
