Anualmente suceden en el mundo accidentes laborales con resultados de lesiones y muertes; según estudios realizados las causas más frecuentes de accidentes laborales son por actos sub- estándar, de esta manera se identifica la necesidad de investigar sobre una de las metodologías más reconocidas para el cambio del comportamiento del trabajador, como lo es la Seguridad Basada en el Comportamiento (SBC). El objetivo del presente estudio es realizar una revisión del programa de gestión de SBC, su efecto en la disminución de la siniestralidad y la cultura en seguridad y el compromiso gerencial como bases claves para la aplicación del programa de SBC. Mediante una revisión sistemática exploratoria con la utilización de palabras clave y un análisis de contenido en base a las variables de interés, se seleccionaron 30 artículos en idiomas inglés y español, por medio de una búsqueda de literatura científica en Google académico y en bases de datos específicas como SciELO; Redalyc; ScienceDirect, Scopus entre otros. Los estudios revisados muestran una disminución de la siniestralidad de hasta el 80% mediante la implementación del programa de SBC, y determinan gran relación en las variables cultura en seguridad y compromiso gerencial para la implementación del programa en estudio.

There are many accidents at work in the world annually, with results of injuries and death; according to the results of the investigation. a research on one of the most recognized methodologies for the analysis and change of worker behavior such as Behavior Based Safety (SBC). The objective of the present study is to carry out a review of the SBC management program, its effect on the reduction of the sinisterness and the safety culture and the management commitment as a basis for the application of the SBC program. Through an exploratory systematic review with the use of keywords and content analysis based on the variables of interest, 30 articles are selected in English and Spanish, by means of an electronic search in scientific-academic literature such as academic Google and in specific databases such as SciELO; Redalyc; ScienceDirect, Scopus among others. Among the studies reviewed, a decrease in the sinisterness of up to 80% is shown through the implementation of the SBC program, and the relationship between the culture variables in safety and managerial commitment for the implementation of the program in the study is determined.
