La Universidad San Gregorio de Portoviejo contribuye al desarrollo de la sociedad, a través de la generación de conocimientos y la formación de profesionales competentes; está comprometida con la investigación, la ciencia, la tecnología, la cultura y los valores. El departamento de Vinculación con la Sociedad y Cultura, en pos de cumplir con la misión de la institución, se ha propuesto involucrar al estudiante en la solución de la problemática presente en su entorno y lograr así un aprendizaje integral que beneficiará su ejercicio profesional, en su compromiso y responsabilidad social. El objetivo de esta investigación es determinar el impacto de los proyectos de vinculación en la formación profesional y humanística de los estudiantes de la USGP, para ello se utilizaron métodos teóricos y empíricos. Se trabajó con estudiantes de diferentes carreras que han participado en al menos un proyecto durante los dos últimos semestres. Los resultados demuestran que la gran mayoría de los estudiantes consideran que los proyectos de vinculación han aportado muy significativamente en su formación profesional y humanística, resultando revelador el impacto, en correspondencia con el cumplimiento de la misión institucional, la gestión de proyectos de Vinculación en la formación profesional y humanística del estudiante.

The San Gregorio de Portoviejo University contributes to the development of society, through the generation of knowledge and the training of competent professionals; committed to research, science, technology, culture and values. The Department of Linking with Society and Culture, in order to fulfill the mission of the institution, has proposed to involve the student in the solution of the present problems in their environment and thus achieve an integral learning that will benefit their professional practice, in your commitment and social responsibility. The objective of this research is to determine the impact of the projects of connection in the professional and humanistic formation of the students of the USGP, for it theoretical and empirical methods were used. We worked with students from different careers who have participated in at least one project during the last two semesters. The results indicate that the great majority of the students consider that the projects of linkage have contributed very significantly in their professional and humanistic formation, resulting in revelador impact, in correspondence with the fulfillment of the institutional mission, the management of projects of Linkage in the professional and humanistic training of the student of the USGP.
