LUSARDI, Giada. FERNANDO FALCONÍ. THE WAY OF LIFE. []. , 12, pp.234-243. ISSN 2477-9199.  https://doi.org/10.26807/cav.vi12.444.

This text introduces the most recent work of the artist Fernando Falconí that was exhibited from Thursday, August 12 to Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Mauricio Aguirre's N.A.S.A.(L) space in Guayaquil (Ecuador).

Throughout his artistic career, Fernando Falconí has subtly, ironically, and acutely explored scientific accounts of the evolution of species and the development of life. Particularly, he has delved into reproductive dynamics, where he examines the contradictory relationship between human beings and nature. These themes have been interwoven into his critique of discourses (and incoherencies) about the nation (or nation-building), culture, and education. In this new series of works (2019-2021), the artist proposes new ways of interpreting (these discourses) and offers historical commentary about how knowledge is organized and transmitted in society.
