CAPASSO, Verónica. VISUALITY AND DAMAGE. NOTES ON NATURE AND ENVIRONMENT IN ARGENTINE ART. []. , 12, pp.151-164. ISSN 2477-9199.  https://doi.org/10.26807/cav.vi12.43.

This article starts with the articulation between art and environment, specifically from a set of argentine visual art proposals. The purpose is to associate them according to the damage by humans to nature as a motiv. Five cases will be analyzed, which of course, are not exhaustive; our proposal is to account environmental problems linked to the elements of water and fire. The selection is made up of a variety of aesthetic languages: performances, art-activism, painting, tapestry. Some references on the subject are developed and analyzed in the corpus propossed. Finally, a series of conclusions are established to think about the fight against the precariousness of existence from the art point of view.

: visuality; environment; violence; Argentine art; water; fire.
