Este artículo propone analizar el desplazamiento de las fronteras artísticas a través del caso de la cerámica contemporánea, dentro de la gran nebulosa de los mundos del arte contemporáneo. Más allá́ de la división clásica entre arte y artesanía, se observa la cohabitación de dos regímenes - patrimonial y arte contemporáneo - dando lugar a un arte entre dos procesos: artificación y patrimonialización. Este estudio de caso muestra que a pesar de sus múltiples tensiones entre saber-hacer y cultura de la tecnofilia, es gracias a los valores diferenciales entre arte contemporáneo y artesanía, que la cerámica existe como mundo del arte del arte contemporáneo singular y periférico. Y que la dificultad de su definición se encuentra atravesada por las paradojas, las cuales coexisten y se afirman dentro de la identidad colectiva de esta comunidad artística, como un valor.

This article proposes to analyze the displacement of artistic borders through the case of contemporary ceramics, within the great nebula of the worlds of contemporary art. Beyond the classic division between art and crafts, we observe the cohabitation of two regimes - patrimonial and contemporary art - giving rise to an art between two processes: artification and heritage. This study shows that despite its multiple tensions between know-how and culture of technophilia, it is thanks to the differential values ​​between contemporary art and traditional pottery that ceramics exists as a world of singular and peripheral contemporary art. And that the difficulty of its definition is crossed by paradoxes, which coexist and assert themselves within the collective identity of this artistic community as a value.
