El cantón Salinas es uno de los destinos de sol y playa con mayor índice de visitas turísticas en Ecuador durante todo el año, sus atractivos turísticos son de mucho interés y brindan diferentes actividades para todo tipo de personas; pero al mismo tiempo presenta altos obstáculos para el desarrollo de un turismo accesible. Por esta razón se analizó en el presente estudio las formas y condiciones en las que actualmente las personas con discapacidad física acceden a los sitios turísticos del cantón. Para ello se utilizó una investigación descriptiva, donde se abordó una observación de campo y entrevista. Así como también una revisión de los manuales y normas de accesibilidad para este grupo prioritario de personas, dentro de todos los espacios turísticos. Los resultados del estudio determinan que, en los atractivos turísticos del cantón Salinas, existen falencias marcadas para las personas con discapacidad física que limitan la participación y disfrute en igualdad de condiciones y oportunidades.

Canton Salinas is one of the sun and beach destinations with the highest rate of tourist visits in Ecuador throughout the year, interest in interest and provide different activities for all types of people; but, at the same time, the principles for the development of accessible tourism are presented. For this reason, people analyze the present forms and conditions in the present study with physical disabilities in the tourist sites of the canton. To do this, a descriptive investigation is described, where a field observation and interview are addressed. As well as a review of the manuals and accessibility standards for this priority group of people, within all the tourist areas. So it can be shown that, in the aspect of the activities of Canton Salinas, there are flaws for people with physical disabilities, which limit participation and enjoyment in equal conditions and opportunities.
