The National Immunization Strategy (ENI) is free, thus, it is responsible of the elimination, eradication and control of avoidable immune diseases in the population under one year old in Ecuador. These are high cost diseases, which generate a great economic and social impact, since they result in medical consultations, hospitalizations and premature deaths. In our country, the ENI has as vision to secure the control, elimination and / or eradication of avoidable diseases by vaccination. Therefore, as a general objective to decrease the morbidity and mortality rates in the target population; which is evidenced in the normal range of the dropout rate that is less than 6% of it. An intervention plan allows to characterize the current situation in Immunization of the urban and rural population of Canton Buena Fe through the Type C Health Center "San Jacinto de Buena Fe", and to visualize the social determining of health, such as: to define problems and priorities by verifying compliance with scheduled activities, to formulate strategies for promotion and prevention, identifying relevant factors in our coverage area. This analysis allows us to make decisions, take new challenges and identify needs that evolve into changes in the demographic and epidemiological profile of the population.
