«Sophia: Collection of Philosophy of Education» is the only journal in Ecuador and one of the few scientific journals specialized in Philosophy of Education in Latin America. Its interdisciplinary lines such as Epistemology, Deontology, Aesthetics, Critical Studies, Hermeneutics, Axiology, Ontology, Philosophical Anthropology, Sociology, Philosophical Analytics and related areas contribute to the enrichment of philosophical reflection. It promotes the dissemination of articles of a monographic nature that are unpublished, scientifically constructed, with a method that adequately articulates analysis and synthesis, which are propositive, at the core of the Philosophy of Education in dialogue with other knowledge. |
The aim of «Sophia» is to theorize education from the philosophical point of view, with data from individual and collective psychology, teaching-learning experiences, sociology, culture and the development of empirical sciences, to renew, update and better articulate the conceptual, procedural and experiential level of education sciences. The editorial policy used by the journal skillfully combines scientific, methodological and investigative rigor with the opening to the various philosophical perspectives on education represented in the participation of the Editorial Board Members from more than 25 countries of the five continents of the planet. |
