The session took place with the presence of the following members:
- Lic. Yolanda Otavalo. Director of Scientific Accreditation (Operational Manager of the collection)
- Dr. Luis Alfonso Álvarez Rodas, representative of the Salesian Polytechnic University;
- Dr. Xavier Bolívar Lastra Bravo, representative of the Central University of Ecuador
- Dr. Diego Cisneros, representative of the San Francisco University of Quito.
- Dr. Xavier Landivar, representative of the Catholic University Santiago de Guayaquil, present on Skype
- Dr. Danilo Chávez, representative of the National Polytechnic School

During the session it was resolved:
- Deny the passage of one (1) magazine to the content review stage, for not complying with the format criteria required for approval.
- Approve the reforms to the Internal Regulations of the Advisory Committee.

Finally, the closing ceremony of the first Consultative Committee for the 2017-2019 period is held
